That’s because all Uberlube do is make Uberlube. They’ve refined their product and since 2002 have been producing a lightweight, non-tacky personal lubricant designed to enhance feeling without compromising your experience.
Uberlube doesn’t smell or taste at all. It’s also preservative-free; there’s no nasties in there whatsoever, and yet despite this, they’ve managed to ensure that it doesn’t harbour mould, germs or bacteria, and nor does it have an adverse affect on your body’s own natural, healthy bacteria.
Product details: 50ml bottle fill. Vegan friendly. Paraben free. Recyclable glass bottle.
The glass bottles are stylish and of course, recyclable, and the lube itself is vegan friendly and yes! It’s cruelty-free. It’s silicon-based, free of parabens and (unusually) glycerin, and has no additives, colours, flavours or preservatives. It is suitable for use with latex condoms.
Uberlube is great for vaginal and anal sex, can be used with toys, and as a silicon lube can also be handy for shining up your PVC fetishwear, smoothing frizzy hair (yes, really, just a dot, like a hair serum) and even helping athletes prevent chafing clothes.
Uberlube’s website contains loads of information regarding contraception, sexual enjoyment, and sexual health – and they are all about openness of communication, which sits really well with my values.
It’s vegan and also cruelty-free – you honestly can’t go wrong with this stuff. It isn’t cheap, sure; but a little goes a long way!

It was easy and enjoyable to order through Higher Desire- their website was clear, informative and visually pleasing. The packaging was recyclable and no plastic, though box could have been smaller. The Uberlube with basic ingredients, is a nice product. I was surprised to find out it can also be used on hair to calm down frizz and on thighs/other parts to reduce friction.
